Barcelona Tourist Office - Barcelona has a comprehensive network of tourist offices and information points geared to serve the needs of tourists. The greatest network of tourist offices is Turisme de Barcelona.

Turisme de Barcelona has a number of tourist offices, located at strategic points around the city. Its specialized staff will help you discover Barcelona and suggest activities which best suit your interests and tastes. At most of these tourist offices you will be able to purchase tickets for the activites and attractions Barcelona has to offer. You can also refer to these offices to get maps of the city, and the transport system. Due to the increasing number of tourists, it is recommended that you visit these offices at early hours of the day, as to avoid long lines.

Of the Turisme de Barcelona network, the main office is in Plaza Catalunya. It is located in the city centre (Pl. Catalunya, 17-s). The office, which covers a surface area of 700 m2, offers you the following service:

1. Tourist and cultural information about Barcelona in a number of languages provided by our front-desk staff. Distribution of tourist leaflets/brochures.
2. Hotel information and bookings at over 200 hotels/pensions in the city.
3. Sale of gift items inspired by Barcelona (“BCN Original Shops”).
4. The Caixa Catalunya bank provides the Tel-Entrada service, money exchange and ticket sales for entertainments in the city.
