Barcelona
Tours - In and around Barcelona there are
many things to do! When you are in Barcelona for the
first time, it may be difficult to plan out your own
tours, especially if your visit is short. Taking this
into consideration, the following information may
be of great use. These are highly recommended tours
of Barcelona:
The Barcelona Turistic Bus is an
excellent choice for getting to know the city, and
it's main attractions. This turistic bus has 3 routes
and makes 40 stops. It originally had only two routes,
the Southern and the Northern, but after the Forum
took place during 2004, the bus began a new route
called the Forum Route.
You can get on and off as many times as you like
along the routes. This way, once you have visited
somewhere that interests you, you can catch the next
bus and continue along the route. And all on the same
ticket! On board there is a Barcelona Tourist
Information Guide who announces the stops
in different languages and helps you to make the most
of your visit.
There
is also a complete information guide in six languages
about the tourist attractions at each Barcelona
Tourist Bus stop. Furthermore, remember that
you have discounts to visit places of interest included
in the price of the ticket. You can buy them on board
the tourist bus, at the Barcelona tourist information
centres, Sants Station, TMB customer service centers,
or online at www.tmb.net
You can also use the Barcelona Card,
and make out your own tour! This is recommended for
the visitor that does not like programmed tours. This
City card features free travel on public transport
and 100 discounts at museums, leisure facilities,
night-clubs, shops, restaurants and on entertainments,
other services and unique means of transport. Valid
for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 days. When you purchase the Barcelona
Card you will receive a complete informative
guide available in two trilingual editions Catalan/Spanish/English
and French/Italian/German. The Barcelona Card can
